The contribution of Senegalese from outside
The promotion of Senegalese from the Outside occupies a central place in our foreign policy. It expresses the strong desire of the Head of State to involve the Diaspora in the country’s economic and social development process, to ensure its protection and respect for its rights throughout the world.

Erection of the Diaspora in the 15th region of Senegal with the election of 15 deputies to the National Assembly for this 13th legislature

Substantial increase in the envelope of the Foreign Senegalese Investment Support Fund (FAISE) from FCFA 340 million to FCFA 2 billion, as well as funding granted to women in the Diaspora for an amount of FCFA 1.5 billion. These resources will all be consolidated to better support the Diaspora

Reorientation of the Diaspora’s remittances, more than 1,000 billion FCFA, towards more investments and further capitalize on their expertise and experience for the country’s development.

The establishment of the High Council of Senegalese in the South in the coming years will contribute to a better management of these issues.
